This is a painting that I did from a model in Lynn Powers studio. I am pleased with the hard and lost edges, splatter and lost areas. It was in a WSO show.
I spe nt 37 years in Corvallis as a structural engineer, using the left side of my brain and neglecting the right side. I retired in 2006, and started exploring the right side, with sketching and watercolors.
I have taken watercolor classes from Mark Allison, and LaVonne Tarbox-Crone. In addition, I have taken watercolor workshops from Ted Nuttal, Donna Zagotta, and Arnie Westerman, and am currently painting weekly with James Kirk.
